Permanent Exhibition

상설전은 컬렉션 미술관인 구하우스의 소장품으로 이루어진 전시로, ‘집 같은 미술관’을 컨셉으로 미술과 디자인 작품들을 편안하게 감상할 수 있습니다. 세계적인 작가의 회화, 조각, 사진, 설치, 영상 등 다양한 장르의 컨템포러리 작품과 더불어 가구와 조명, 거울 등 디자인 작품들이 일상 생활 공간 같은 전시장에서 어우러져 펼쳐집니다.

조각 <Mother and Child>은 단란한 가족의 모습을 표현한 작품으로, 어머니와 아이가 나란히 앉아 있는 모습이다. 이상적 비율의 미화된 여체가 아닌 실제 그대로의 넉넉한 모습으로 어머니를 표현하여, 모든 것을 포괄하는 모성과 그 근원적 행복함을 보여준다. 특히, 벤치 형태로 되어 있어 관람객도 옆에 앉을 수 있는데, 이를 통해 같은 포근함과 편안함을 느낄 수 있다.

The sculpture <Mother and Child> depicts a harmonious family scene, with a mother and child sitting side by side. Instead of an idealized, stylized female form, the mother is represented in her true, ample form, showcasing the encompassing nature of motherhood and its fundamental joy. Particularly, the sculpture is designed in the form of a bench, allowing viewers to sit beside it and experience the same warmth and comfort.


니키 드 생팔  Niki de Saint Phalle 

(1930~2004, 프랑스/France)


조각가, 화가이면서 영화제작자로 활동했다. 안토니오 가우디(Antoni Gaudi)의 작업에서 영감을 받아, 일반적이지 않은 재료의 사용이나 생동감 넘치는 형태와 다양한 색채의 조각을 보여준다.


She was a sculptor, painter, and filmmaker. Inspired by the work of Antoni Gaudí, she created sculptures featuring unconventional materials, vibrant forms, and a diverse palette of colors.
