Permanent Exhibition

상설전은 컬렉션 미술관인 구하우스의 소장품으로 이루어진 전시로, ‘집 같은 미술관’을 컨셉으로 미술과 디자인 작품들을 편안하게 감상할 수 있습니다. 세계적인 작가의 회화, 조각, 사진, 설치, 영상 등 다양한 장르의 컨템포러리 작품과 더불어 가구와 조명, 거울 등 디자인 작품들이 일상 생활 공간 같은 전시장에서 어우러져 펼쳐집니다.

펭 이잉은 풍요롭고 다채로운 동시에 빠르게 변화하는 현대사회에서, 전통적인 창작방식을 고수하며 다른 바링허우 세대(1980년대 이후 출생)의 작가들과 자신을 차별화하고 있다. 다양한 매체를 통해 현대인들의 모습을 담아내는 작가는 예술을 단어로 ’표현‘할 수 있지만, 완전히 ’설명‘될 수 없는 것이라고 말하며 각각의 사람들이 다르게 받아들일 수 있는 “불명확성‘에 주목한다.

한 남자가 새장 속에 갇힌 자신을 바라보고 있는 모습은 자유가 제약된 상황과 무력한 표정과 자세를 통해 다양한 해석의 가능성을 제공한다.

Feng Yiying distinguishes himself from other post-1980s artists by adhering to traditional creative methods in a rich, diverse, and rapidly changing modern society. Through various media, he captures the essence of contemporary individuals. He states that art can be "expressed" in words but cannot be fully "explained," highlighting the "ambiguity" that allows for different interpretations by each person.

The image of a man looking at himself trapped in a birdcage offers various interpretations through his restricted freedom and his helpless expression and posture.


펭 이잉 Yiying Feng (1983~, 중국/China)


중국 바링허우 세대 작가 중 한 명으로, 2001년 Changsha Fine Arts School를 졸업한 후 Central Academy of Fine Arts에서 조각을 전공하였다.


As a member of the post-1980s generation of Chinese artists, he graduated from Changsha Fine Arts School in 2001 and majored in sculpture at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
